| Virtual Driving Simulator
Simulated driving practice has value and will help to improve driver awareness, assist in lane positioning, etc. In addition, pilots have been using flight simulators since 1980 to improve their skill without the added risk and driving simulators have been around since 1975. However, the effectiveness could vary among teens. So even though we can substitute 4 hours of driving simulation for 1 hour of actual driving and still be in compliant our decision is to use our future VDS systems for extra curricular activities and give all kids 14 hours in the car. Thus, more real world driving will better prepare our young drivers for a challenging future driving experience.
